This afternoon's viewing. Had to switch it up a little, I can't watch big oiled up muscle men all the time!

Just finished up my entry for a local painting competition tomorrow. I Thought about entering some old hammer, but I decided to just do what I'm best at and paint in my style.

It's good to be back!

I'm making my girlfriend watch this tonight. She's a big fan of horror, but a lot of the more mainstream stuff.
1. Gonna start with the obvious choice first, Suspiria from 1977. This movie gets an insane amount of praise, enough so that it may seem over hyped, but it is an incredibly spooky movie with some incredible visuals and cinematography. If you've never seen it, now's your chance. It's free on Tubi

Very sorry to hear of the passing of UK artist Peter Knifton. I had some personal dealings with Peter few years ago when he kindly let me use his ‘space pyramid’ cover for one of my albums. He was a gentleman. Rest well Peter.

Tonight's viewing. I was originally going to watch The Barbarians but seem to have accidentally bought the Italian version. Lol, whoops.

Good evening, himbos, bimbos, and gentlethems! It's #Halloween week, so that means it's horror movie season! Honestly, there is no more perfect time of year to sit back and enjoy something creepy or spooky or bloody. So I compiled a list of ten horror movies I recommend, in no particular order 🧵

Sword and sorcery is one of my favourite genres because what other type of movie causes this kind of live reaction.

Deathstalkers acquired. I managed to get this for an extremely decent bargain, considering there are some people listing all four movies together for $350+.

This afternoon's viewing! I've never seen this movie in it's entirety, I rented this once, but it was an old chewed up VHS copy. All I really remember is that amazing theme song!

All jokes aside, this is a surprisingly good pre history movie. It's on YouTube (as are a lot of sword and sorcery films), so check it out if you're up for a fun way to spend an evening.
Coming to the realisation that my new hyper fixation is physical media. Specifically sword and sorcery films. But can you blame me?? How am I supposed to focus on anything when there's Iron Master going on! Look at the muscularity!

Why is it so hard to find horror movies on streaming?? You'd think with it being October, they'd have a Halloween season selection, but noooooooo

I might have to subject girlfriend to the Terrifier trilogy if my spooky needs aren't fulfilled.

Tonight's viewing. Since no one can review this movie without being a weirdo, I thought I'd check it out myself. So far, it's authentic 80's style sword and sorcery. They understood the assignment.

Probably oysters. There's not a lot I'd refuse to at least try, but cold shellfish makes me instantly sick.

Wind River. Not because it's a bad movie, it's actually quite good, in fact. It just is NOT a happy feel-good experience.

All the Things That I've Done by the Killers. Fucking hate that song

Tonight's viewing. I mentioned to girlfriend I loved this movie and she bought it on iTunes. This movie is up there with John Carpenter's The Thing for best remake of a 50's horror flick.
