Ugh it's a pain in the ass though, I'm *directly* under the router but there's not an obvious way to feed a cable from the new router down when I look into the drop ceiling and I don't wanna put a hole in my living room floor

My Internet is now so fast that my limiting factor is my work laptop's wifi speed 😅 It can only download at like 1/5 of the max speed.

When it comes to time periods I'm biphobic. biweekly is one of those words that is too overloaded.
This is why I am fond of semiweekly for twice a week & fortnightly for every 2 weeks.
Likewise with semiannually and biennially instead of biannual.

I miss XMPP where I could use stuff like Jabber or the early Google Chats with it but they could all cross communicate (and of course I used Trillium to talk to all the chat services)

Yeah we've been on Freedom Mobile for over a decade with our phones and in our old apartment we used TekSavvy & now we've been on FiberStream/Beanfield for the last 5 years.

I am kind of annoyed by the constant need to shift platforms after they turn evil though. One misses open source software self-hosted, though I suppose I don't *really* want to have to do that or I wouldn't be on Northsky I'd be on my own PDS by now 😂
