#Cubs can't start Boyd tomorrow. The last thing they want is Peralta pitching w/ a nice lead. Start w/ long RPs and see if the bats can't get something going and turn it into a 4-5 inning game w/ Peralta leaving it soon.

Hoyer's big TD acquisition's contribution to a #Cubs WS run this season is 2 IP, for $3M. He's a FA, so expect Jed to pay him another $5M to rehab, assuming Tom is dumb enough to keep letting him waste his money.

Justin Turner surprisingly revisiting his glory days to walk it off for the #Cubs shouldn't erase the fact that once again the game went into late innings close/tied, and the bullpen failed. Pulling this out against the Marlins isn't that surprising, but teams like this won't be playing in October.
