Yet, nothing will be done about it...
Experts are condemning the U.S. military strike that killed 11 people on a boat in the Caribbean on Tuesday, saying that the attack was an extra-judicial killing, which is a violation of international law. truthout.org/articles/exp...
Experts Say Trump Administration’s Deadly Boat Attack Amounts to Extrajudicial Killings
“Trump is claiming the right to conduct extra-judicial assassinations,” a civil rights attorney posted on X.

Not so long ago we were a country that promoted tearing down walls. Now we build them.

Walls across the land.

Walls across people’s hearts.

The physical ugliness reflects the spiritual darkness that has taken hold in America.

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.

And it won't be a whoopsie...
Sotomayor is right. According to this Supreme Court, the US can now kidnap, detain, and fly legal immigrants and citizens to a foreign country's prison, even if it's a whoopsie.

America, people. Freedom and stuff.

If you actually lived according to the Bill of Rights and the Beatitudes you claim that you talk about with your kids, you wouldn't be mocked for being conservative.
I'm tired of being mocked and hated because I'm a conservative woman | Opinion
In mainstream media, women like me are portrayed through a singular lens: Our conservative beliefs. As such, we are easy to hate, mock and scorn.

This is ridiculous and not at all based on actual bedrock principles of American Justice.
It is a sad day for the legal industry. Paul Weiss, didn't just bend a knee, it set a new standard for shameful capitulation. This is a stain on the firm, every one of its partners, and the entire legal profession.

Again, what’s worst about this isn’t that Trump is a petty and narcissistic freak supported by sycophants — that’s already priced in — but that so many Americans are willing to demean themselves by pretending this is okay. Trump thrives because America has so many shitbirds.
Freakishly petulant and transparently unhinged.

The mad rants of a weak king with sniveling counselors.
This is simultaneously funny and horrifying.

It's going to be really funny/sad when Europe agrees to 1) increase their financial and military support to Ukraine, 2) support Ukraine's entry into NATO, and 3) gives Putin and Trump a massive middle finger as the EU officially takes the place of the United States as the world's superpower.

The Republican Party is MAGA. There is no preserving it as anything less.
If the market continues to trend down, and the Atlanta Fed turns out to be right, the midterms will be very interesting.
