1) that’s a hell of a hypothetical to suggest
2) based on how people reacted to Neil Gaiman this last year, I don’t know if I agree.

"He added, 'Eventually, you’ll get a new job, and when you do, I might just make another video and contact that employer, too. Now, why would I do that? For fun. I enjoy it. I like it. It’s a nice pastime.'”

"Efficiency in Image and Material Generation
With very few materials, they can generate character model sheets + 3D models, allowing for the testing of multiple designs and their artistic outcomes."
Something to keep an eye on.

The only ground I'm willing to stand on is the ground where you've buried this shit forever.

Voice actors are increasingly pressured into giving up their voice prints in perpetuity for some of these games. Some for cheap; others are finding these terms snuck into contracts.
Not an “extreme”, but reality.

I don’t care about legality and neither do you. You want to play your game and enjoy it guilt free.
I want human beings to be able to work in the industry they trained half their lives for.
It’s a moral issue. It’s a human issue.
Providing your voice for A.I. undermines everyone in the industry. It is a net negative, that will only make it harder for you and everyone else down the line.
It. Is. Wrong.

Hate to say it but I don't think any of the VAs still working for Hoyoverse are going to stop working for them. Even though they absolutely should.
Except the alternative is getting fired or the company just stealing your voice anyway. Forced coercion is not consent. This is why we have/need union contracts.
Fuck AI
Well yeah, have you seen what happens to those who don't want to sign off on this? Can you really call that consent when the alternative is losing (or never getting) a job?
