I have ended my hiatus early for one reason. I don't know how many people in my circle are Jewish, but surely you must exist. Okay, guys, real talk. I've had this whole mental fog thing for a few weeks, and I'm sick and tired of it. A friend suggested I take a social media break, and they make a good argument. I am taking a brief, two-week break from social media (with some secret exceptions) I really think it'll help.

Neurodivergency is a lifelong, legally binding contract someone else signed in your name. You don't choose it, it chooses you. You can't get out of it. It affects so many aspects of your life, and most folks only see a fraction of it. From first breath to last, from womb to tomb, ND isn't an excuse.

It baffles me how some people think ADHD and similar ilk is fake, made up by a bunch of kids who want to take the easy way out.

Artists beware. Fetishes are not always easy to notice. Something may look innocent and turn out to be fets. Pay attention to the description. The mote specific it is, the higher the chances of it being at fet. To make things worse, younger artists and creators are often targeted by these people.

Despite what some may think, fetishes aren't inherently a bad thing. More people have one than you think; they just keep it to themselves and enjoy it in private. It becomes problematic when you force that fetish on people, or trick unsuspecting artists into drawing it for you.

PSA: Artist =/= Art Farm. If you force an artist to draw the same picture 5,000 times, you're an asshole. And paying them for it doesn't mean they're happy about it. Stop paying that artist to draw fill-in-the-blank anime girl getting groped by another person. You're burning them out.

A reminder to those who commission artists. They appreciate your patronage. That doesn't entitle you to special privileges. Just because you're their client doesn't mean you're their friend. You buy commissions, not friendships. Friendships must be earned, and they take time; money is not a factor.
