I'm having one of those moments again where I have to shake myself aggressively again. I've been sitting here for days trying to figure out why I'm so tired and am having a hard time moving.
And its like.. duh. Chronically ill. ME/CFS. Its right there in the name even. Bacon please. 😩

I have to remember when i feel really discouraged over what I *cannot* do, I actually have much better function than I did even just a few years ago. I was reminding myself while making dinner that some of the things I'm doing right now, was just not possible a few years ago. There has been progress

It’s GOOD for us to find as many ways to fight as possible. The bigger the variety of resistance the better. All you have to do is anything. That’s it.

This is because of the Online Safety Act, and UK folks had better get used to doing this because every site on the internet that "is likely to be accessed by children" and has users in the UK will be doing this as of 25 July; that's Ofcom's deadline.
Starting July 25, Bluesky will require users in the UK to scan their face, upload an ID or verify their identity with a bankcard.
I realize that platforms feel they have no choice but to comply with the government surveillance schemes, but shocking nonetheless.
