Let them read books. I don’t care what is being read. It’s better than doom scrolling or getting drunk at the bar.
In just saw an author (!) saying that women that “Romantasy girlies are not the brightest sparks” and then went into a whole conspiracy theory about how romantasy is conservative propaganda for straight women with a patriarchy kink

Let them read books. I don’t care what is being read. It’s better than doom scrolling or getting drunk at the bar.

Here are 7 reasons I favor audiobooks:
1. I can listen in environments where reading a book is impractical (in the dark, noisy room, yard work, eating, walking, etc)
2. The narrator adds to the reading experience. Especially if there's a "full cast" of readers.
