I make one line, over-simplified book summaries. There are a lot of books out there, but not all of them are good.

A few jobs that I've had, I would take my breaks in my car because every time I tried to read in the breakroom, people would try to talk to me.

I wasn't a fan of the last one in this series. As a whole, it is a good romance series, though.

I was a total dodo and read the Odyssey first. Still enjoyed it, but I should have read the Iliad first. (In my defense, I was 14 and wouldn't listen to my mom)

I need to re-read this

In this book, one of the characters critiques the other and their reasoning. I was going, "yeah, she's right." How did the author not see it themselves?

That’s awesome! I’ve been very lucky with my cat. He’s more interested in drinking the water out of the tree holder than playing with the ornaments

I’m adding it to my TBR, thank you for sharing. I read Cobalt Red earlier this year, and it touched a little on him.

This was the first book I read by Zelazny. Absolutely amazing, I’ve read it three times now

I have never heard of the PBS series, but this book looks interesting. Added to my TBR, thank you for sharing!

How was the book?

It’s typical Warhammer. Fight off aliens while there is blood and gore everywhere

I could not go back on my principles. When conversations like this have happened, I tell them that I understand their point of view, but I’m not going to change mine. I’ve also flat out said, “I’m done with this conversation.”

So, in 2018 my house flooded when hurricane Florence came through. I stayed at a neighbor's who was the highest hill in the county. We went through some interesting things. Folks trying to steal from other flooded houses, attempted raid on the property, etc. But for the most part it was peaceful
