Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says they’ve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.

Don’t be fooled by headlines when they’ve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.

I can honestly say having worked in it since the mid 80s, from 1997 onwards, it was a golden age for the Heritage & Cultural Sectors. Then the Tories systematically dismantled the structures to the point it's everyone for themselves again.

Sorry but why the fuck would you *not* want to recreate 2006?Pre-financial crash, pre-austerity, pre-Brexit, pre-inflation. Britain's economically healthy, decent public services, largely competent government, fairly amiable political disputes. What kind of person prefers this period to that?
Kemi Badenoch says the Tories are "not trying to recreate 2006" which, to this 38 year old, is a pity

£240,000 per job to temporarily safeguard 500 jobs at a firm run by the UK's 7th richest person, an ardent Brexiter worth £17 billion.

Is it really worth it when firms that don't get a penny in government support collapse with greater job losses every few weeks?

The problem with not investigating brexit is that most of the ills the UK is facing come from it.

Not investigating also tells foreign powers planning this 'if you win, we will roll over'

Trump is coming after our BBC. He’s suing it for $10 billion, and the Conservatives and Reform are cheering him on.

The BBC must not pay Trump a penny. Instead of rolling over, it should sue Trump back for the lies he’s telling about it.
