The Kelloggs Superman Dangle-Dandy is from 1955. Kelloggs was the primary sponsor of The Adventures of Superman tv show (and pushed to make it more kid-friendly)

Trivia: Kelloggs never had Clark and Lois do a cereal commercial together, as them 'having breakfast' would have been too suggestive.

Morning music selection - All That Jazz: Ever Jazz 2012

I downloaded a bunch of the All That Jazz albums alongside some other anime jazz albums (Ultraman Jazz!) from a Brazilian site waaay back in 2014 or 2015

Was happy to see All That Jazz was rereleased on vinyl recently so I can properly own it

Help me, I find the expression that Piglet makes in the fourth panel hysterical, why did the artist draw him THAT sad

I finally got Sonic #82, been looking forward to it despite most seeming not to like it, the previews I saw looked cute! I let most social media criticism go over my head anyway, getting back into fandom reminded me of how ORNERY a good chunk of the fanbase is about everything

I keep thinking this series has died off but Diesel keeps putting gas in the tank and pushing it forward

That and Brazilians keep watching it

"no problem boss. i'm on it"

I remember when Skype replaced MSN/Live Messenger, Skype felt more soulless and intrusive

Now looking back it still has more personality than Teams, which maybe isn't saying much, but yeah

The extra LPs are nice though if one likes extended mixes/dance mixes. The 22-minute jam session that takes up one entire side of Disc 3 is a highlight of Prince & The Revolution just rocking out

I'll probably just try to find some better sleeves for the LPs
November 28, 2025 at 11:10 PM
My only real issue is that the LPs were cheaply packed from the Sony store, 1999 had a seam tear and the Around the World Deluxe edition just has shoddy paper sleeves and all 3 LPs shoved into one too tight side. Poor packaging for a deluxe edition, no plastic anti-static protectors even

I think I like Around The World In A Day better than 1999, every track is a banger. Obviously Raspberry Beret & Paisley Park are great, but even non-singles like The Ladder & Pop Life have an OOMPH to them and every track is like that, just massively entertaining and engaging

Thanks to some gift cards I'd been sitting on and some sales I've been picking vinyls up all week

The two I've gotten so far I've been listening to are some classic Prince albums, 1999 and the 3-LP set of Around The World In A Day
