I remember when this dude got yelled at on Twitter because he mused about how the number of people directly affected by abortion policy was relatively small so it didn't make sense why so many people would care about it. It was one of the very rare times he actually walked back an idiotic position.

I also want to reiterate that it took every single Democratic Senator to agree to this deal. A single Democratic Senator could have denied unanimous consent, pushed this into Monday, allowed more time for the discontent to fester. Every Senate Democrat is complicit.
