WHAT...IS THIS?
Revealed in a new #AmazingDinoworld episode, this (unpublished?) fossilised cephalopod beak (found in Hokkaido, Japan) is twice as big as the beak of the giant squid.

If we simply scale up the giant squid, we get a creature that is allegedly 20 METRES IN LENGTH.

The BLM is seeking to eradicate the Public Lands Rule, which allows the conservation to be included in land use planning. There are a lot of areas of critical environmental concern in BLM land. It's in the federal register and the public commenting period has started. Please comment!

Friends, the The Natural History Society of Maryland is building a new museum that will include a shark science and conservation exhibit that I get to help design!

They're hoping to raise $3,000 to fund exhibit materials. Please consider supporting them:

Oh, hey.

Visa and Mastercard now say you can't pay for WoW. Magic the Gathering. FFXIV. DnD. Lord of the Rings. Because they're all "adult" content against their ToS just for being "fantasy".

Let that sink in.

Spread this like wildfire and have people in those circles call them. No quarter.
Woke up to quite the update on this. I had been in contact with Payment Cloud about getting their service and they waited until now to hit me with the image below. Again, stringing me along instead of being upfront. They had seen my website multiple times before this.

I don't understand how people look at the current state of the world and still insist voting for the "lesser evil" is a solid strategy.
As if that isn't precisely what got us here.

Here's Rudolf Rocker on how lesser evilism helped pave the way for Hitler. Keep in mind, this is from 1937. He follows this saying, “Democratic countries have learned nothing from this example and are now traveling with fatalistic submissiveness along the same path.”

People in the US often believe that the country is an exception and that the rest of the world is inferior. That's why, as fascism is overrunning society, they make insulting comparisons to places that the US terrorized (like North Korea) as their “rejection” of problems manufactured domestically.

I’m going to tweet my favorite scenes from every episode of Walking with Dinosaurs every day. I’ll even do the Big Al special and the new series.

It’s hard for me to pick a particular favorite from New Blood, but I liked these two for their dramatic presentation.
