I hate being negative, but how Mattel mistreated TCC members and increasingly mandated unpopular aspects was so wrong.
I'd like the Thomas reboot and movie (if either happens) to be good, but Mattel is a corporation. I fear the quality of Thomas will be subordinate to the profit motive. (1/2)

I almost forgot about this till now - but today marks 10 Years since the Thomas Creator Collective was released made by the fans for the fans on the official Thomas YT channel. It may have its ups and downs, but the collaborative voices, music & model work by many fans and their work skyrocketed.

RIP Pauline Collins. Although I am familiar with her roles in Doctor Who, my earliest memories of her involve the old Mr Men cartoons which she used to narrate alongside her husband John Alderton. She voiced all the Little Miss characters there

OK so I only learnt today that 'Hullo Twins' had a different final script from the leaked one from 2022.
Several differences and simplifications compared with the book. Plus the Gordon and Henry scene and Duck talking to Douglas added back in.
I love Thomas behind-the-scenes and reveals.

From my contact with him, it seems David Maidment (Railway Consultant for Season 5) contributed to "James and 'Super' E.D." by providing the concept of a train being hit by lightning.
That is unless another episode that I overlooked uses this, or it was reworked.

Gordon had broken down so Pip & Emma, the mainland express, were allowed to run through to Tidmouth. They had never been on Sodor before & Pip was enjoying herself. Emma however felt sad.
