I've written (and am writing) some Thomas stories, which I'll release here once I work out how to add them. I'm planning some stories on the years before, during and after WW1.

Several differences and simplifications compared with the book. Plus the Gordon and Henry scene and Duck talking to Douglas added back in.

From my contact with him, it seems David Maidment (Railway Consultant for Season 5) contributed to "James and 'Super' E.D." by providing the concept of a train being hit by lightning.
That is unless another episode that I overlooked uses this, or it was reworked.

Are these images known to Thomas fans? They're from the 2007 British Railway Modelling Annual, which also has details on Awdry's models (standard and narrow gauge) and layouts.
