Weird thought of the day. What if Splatoon teams hired solo-casters to do team broadcasts of tournaments (if allowed) would there be an interest in doing that? (If so, hire me)

i dunno, like if you're top 2000 in any region, you have to put a 5 right?
as for my 2, i dont hate being a lone wolf at LANs, but i feel like that hurts me quite a bit when it comes to actually meeting people in the community and being on comp teams. maybe thats just a me thing though.

Watching LoL Worlds last night, and watching how deep those Champion pools had to go when they got to game 5 makes me wonder if we could do something like that for a one-time-a-season tournament in Splatoon, if no one else wants to run it I'm down.

welp, after 9 years, i finally caved and upgraded away from my EVGA GTX 1060. Believe it or not, that was actually the last piece of the original PC i had built for myself for Forza Horizon 3. So, now, My older brother has more of my original PC than I do (that being the case)

1. id love to be a FA again, but because of my hideous work schedule (I work 2 Saturdays on, 1 off) kinda limits my time for tourneys. (1/?)

As a "just starting out" local TO, I am finding this out firsthand. Splatoon TO'ing is a tiresome endeavor and can tire you out in a hurry. i had a "im not sure if i can do this anymore" moment right before i went to GOML. Cyren and crew gave me the confidence i need to say "i can keep going"
There's not a single Splatoon TO whos extrinsically motivated to do this, btw. No one is making a living off this, we are not "professionals", we're humans who put our own time, effort, and resources into making this work.

Setting up a new hard drive with a fresh install of Windows, nearly had a heart attack because my Capture Card (which has been out-dated for some time, mind you) was no longer supported on the AverMedia Website, thank goodness the internet archive exists!
