Not my observation, but I think an underrated takeaway of the gem situation is that a lot of people who were skeptical of the accusations (myself included) stayed silent out of fear of being harassed by the mob. Gem going silent, while understandable from a legal perspective, did not help for sure

one thing i've also noticed lately is that i enjoy thinking about things that i liked about silksong. maybe i should do that a bit more as well
i've had some thoughts brewing as to why i don't like silksong as much as i liked hollow knight and i feel like i should put them out there somehow
