It has always kinda irked me that we talk and think about the meta in terms of individual weapon kits instead of team archetypes. it's has always felt off when i hear people say "wow the meta is so diverse now" when we're just using slightly different main weapons to do the exact same thing

I have vague memories of a Japanese team bringing out a coolerless double splash comp in a pretty important tournament last year but i can't remember which one or if it actually happened tbh.

Thanks to a contribution by @hfcred.dev sendou ink now has an often requested support for pronoun selection! It can be added on your profile settings page and shows in some contexts such as chats, tournament match rosters & the API stream layouts use.

the more time i put into actually using hammer correctly, the more i am convinced hammer is a bit too strong. the rush is fine when i stop running at hydras but the throw is too much.
you know there's a problem when V mini is the hammer weapon getting results rn (at least in the west idk about jp)

I'm not usually one to reminisce but sure why the heck not. This year has been a pretty good one for me in terms of comp. spent a good chunk of it with 3pd, an amazing team of really cool people (and myself). some of my best tournament results and performances was with these guys.

Looks like i'm going to spend most of my free time this christmas and boxing day turning this idea into a script because now i can't stop thinking about it. it wont be my next vid but will probs be the one after
the more i think about splatoon's balancing, the more the problem feels entirely unsolvable so long as we have the kit system and so long as tacticooler is allowed to be as game defining as it is
