Maps can solve #genealogy mysteries. Changing county lines, vanished towns, and shifting borders can make ancestors seem to disappear when they never moved at all. Always check period maps before giving up.

This is where we are at. For what? For nothing. For stupidity. For ego. For an old, demented malignant narcissist who expects the world to jump at his every whim. Well, when you follow international news you can see that the world has pretty much had enough of his bullshit.

Breaking NYT:

The Pentagon used a secret aircraft painted to look like a civilian plane in its first boat attack, according to officials briefed on the matter.

The laws of armed conflict forbid combatants from feigning civilian status.

That is a war crime called "perfidy."

this should not be happening...but I it's not surprising...and so sad schools are no longer considered safe sanctuaries for students.
Minneapolis Public Schools canceled classes district-wide for the remainder of the week, citing “safety concerns,” following the murder committed by an ICE agent. The move came after officials at Roosevelt High School said armed U.S. Border Patrol officers came on school property during dismissal.

Just shaking my head...there are no words...
The works of Plato are now being banned at schools in the United States.

Tell me again how censorship is a European problem? 🤔

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

Born on this day in 1947, David Robert Jones.
Sadly, we lost him 69 years later, on Jan 10, 2016.
We'll hear a song from him at 6:20 on The Early Edition.
It's a good one! Stick around.

It's perhaps not the most extensive pedigree but if they were your ancestors you'd love to have this little part of the tree confirmed.

I couldn't resist looking for the three marriages which were marked as 'not registered' two of the three, thanks to the wonders of the internet are now findable!
