These people are mental. Mental.
This man is completely unhinged.
Nadhim Zahawi thinks London is now unsafe, because the other day a tired-looking man walked past him during the morning rush hour.

Jesus Christ. This is what the right think of women now, I guess..
And just like that, Gilead was no longer dystopian fiction.

“Just like Hitler imprisoned Gypsies, Jews, communists, you know, all of his political rivals, we have to do the same thing with women… So they go to the gulag first. They go to the breeding gulags.”

It is so embarrassing that it has taken nearly a decade for a British minister to say this, a statement of the absolute bloody obvious

It feels kind of like Starmer saying he’s not going anywhere very strongly foreshadows that he will, indeed, be going somewhere, and very soon.

McSweeney going is excellent news. It doesn't fix any problems by itself, but it is the precondition for fixing those problems.

Starmer will look even more weak if McSweeney goes on his own terms. McSweeney will fall on his sword - it will eventually happen. It speaks of Starmer’a lack of political judgement that he hasn’t concluded this and acted already. Delaying now will cost him politically later.

Sorry but why the fuck would you *not* want to recreate 2006?Pre-financial crash, pre-austerity, pre-Brexit, pre-inflation. Britain's economically healthy, decent public services, largely competent government, fairly amiable political disputes. What kind of person prefers this period to that?
Kemi Badenoch says the Tories are "not trying to recreate 2006" which, to this 38 year old, is a pity
