I actually think it's extremely good and healthy to experience art that makes you uncomfortable. discomfort is not equivalent to real, tangible harm. at the very least y'all should recognize uncomfortable art's right to exist, and to carry on with your life without making it everyone else's problem.

If people scrape and trawl the internet for more art to feed into their AI generators, then isn't it my duty, my moral imperative, to make the most hideous, unpolished, ugly, gods-awful-to-look-at art that ever existed?

So this is as far as I got with making my paintings of Alex Shepherd and Murphy Pendleton, before my drawing tablet gave out.
I have four more pieces I'm going to try and complete, but I'll have to switch to a traditional medium to finish them. Gonna go for 'watercolors' (heavily diluted gouache).

Sorry for the radio silence & the drought of art. I've had to shift my sleep schedule to normal hours, which drained my energy for a few weeks. I hope to finish the remaining SH paintings before the end of October, and I've put myself in a position to concentrate on doing so. We'll see how it goes.
