I use both and it’s heartbreaking when those that focus on digital ever feel it’s less authentic, those skills are still there & it’s still all beautifully human made!
(Granted doing both messes with my mind-ever try to ‘zoom in’ on a sketchbook?…)

Sorry you had to deal with that, you are 100% right the fandom is FILLED with what ifs & different takes and that’s okay! That’s what makes finding new stuff so fun to enjoy, there’s a million takes on shadow and I like getting to see what ppl come up with :)
