I usually keep my 11 year old informed of the basics of current events in US politics, but I can't do that today. There's no way to make these layers and layers of corruption, let alone sexual violence towards people who look just like her, make sense at all.

I just think it’s long past time to set all sorts of new troubling precedents, most especially ones that involve shaming abusers and their enablers out of polite society and public life.
When Ravi Zacharias was post-humously acknowledged as a predator I petitioned my Alma mater to rescind his honorary degree, especially as I am a victim of abuse by a ministry partner of his.

Interesting how the line is, now that we have legalized sports gambling across the board there's no putting that genie back in the bottle versus sure we can end the hemp industry with one line in an unrelated bill.
