Since July 2022, the lag between COVID-19 symptom onset and a positive PCR test is 4.5-6.5 days.

You might test positive earlier than 5 days after symptom onset, but it can be up to one week.

That's PCR--with RATs you're even less likely to test positive within the first 5 days of symptoms.

COVID-19 can cause long-lasting damage to the cardiovascular system, even in people who only tested positive w/o severe symptoms.
The risk was especially pronounced in people with non-O blood types, suggesting an interaction between genes and the virus.

Very good news on the fall booster. The FDA changed course from JN.1 to select KP.2, which in the animal model has a >3-fold induction of neutralizing antibodies vs KP.3, the SARS-CoV2 variant that is on its way to dominance in the US
