Bodø/Glimt had to beat Manchester City at home and Atletico Madrid away IN THEIR OFFSEASON to even have a chance of qualifying for the knock out stages; and they only went and did both. There'll be knockout round Champions League football above the Arctic Circle!!!!

Come on full-time; Bodø/Glimt need another Champions League round!

That's some dandy commentary from Vic there "If they touched the red stone then it's up to Alberta to decide"

BOTH FUCKING RINKS ARE ALBERTA RINKS

Bodø/Glimt have just beaten Manchester City, and beaten them well, 3-1, and it arguably should've been more. A first ever Champions League win for them. What a performance from the Norwegians all the more impressive as the club is currently in their off-season with Norway using a calendar schedule.

We need more sliding events in the Olympics. Lets get Alpine Luge into the Olympics!
So what is Alpine Luge? It's pure luge, tracks are mostly made on a set course, thought there's a way to build them on ski slopes, and there's no banked curves and no refrigeration.

What does that look like? Here's the greatest of all time, Evelin Lanthaler, sliding in Deutschnofen in 2020

This is genuinely fascinating, given the coverage given to the EPL and European Footy, some reporters could make a lucrative side gig helping out of work coaches and managers identify their blind spots.

H/T to @twoht.bsky.social for assembling the list.

This is what happens when Gianni Infantino falls in love with rogue states and their despots. As we get closer to kick off the list of "not welcomes" will rise; and Gianni will giddily promote an event the world is no longer allowed to attend.

Post a picture YOU took, no description just the picture.

Hmmm. It's almost like it wasn't about "the drugs" at all.

MORE OF THIS SORT OF THING!
Folks, she brought a whole plate of spaghetti to the broadcast center to do her headshot. She then houses that spaghetti.

Mattia sips on an espresso during his.

Truly the heroes we need during these times.

Newcastle Jets gold sleeves and shorts make them look like an Aussie Rules side with sleeveless long jersey's and short shorts. #ALeague

It's a bold claim if true, but since it's a claim from Gianni Infantino, I think it's fair to side on the side of it being complete and utter bullshit.
Takes a certain level of wood face to say this.

Nothing must be allowed to get in the way of Amercian capitalism, not even warnings of a potential natural disaster.
While the Eagles-Bills game audio was taken away due to the Fox 32 (Chicago) meteorologist, the commercial audio won out.

"Can you guys let me know- do we need to go to this commercial? Okay, so, we're going to take the commercial, and we'll be right back." (2/2)

The video feed constantly going down isn't doing a whole lot for the Sabalenka and Kyrgios match.

Betti Delorey's rink finished with a record of 0-4 in the 3 rink group phase, Muise and Kaufman both finished 3-1. They will now face Team Kaufman (coached by Kerry Galusha) to see who will represent the Northwest Territories at the 2026 Scotties.

The fact that it took a 2x unified World Heavyweight Champion so long to do this, is worrisome. Not necessarily to the sport; but to the calibre of the heavyweight division at that time. I'm extremely happy AJ ended it, but I don't see him improving his career from this result/performance.
Anthony Joshua punched Jake Paul so hard he hearing colors and seeing sounds right now.

Johnson's won that fight, but she also knows she's been in a fight.
Canada's Amanda Galle is a game fighter, but standing in the pocket trading with Cherneka Johnson is not the plan, and especially not the plan when she's cut and pretty much every punch from Johnson lands on the cut. If she can be more elusive she's got at the very least a chance of the shock.

That Yokasta Valle vs Yadria Bustillos fight was something else. The two strawweight fighters just said "fuck it, lets throw hands and not try to block anything"
So the problem with this Paul-Joshua card is that there are three very good women's world title fights that have been relegated to being fought in front of 50 people and a dog; because this card "needed" two rookies leading off the main card and Anderson Silva boxing Tyron Woodley for some reason.

The fact that the only person shocked by the fake punt is the commentator (briefly) says something.
What was that USF?
