Anyway, I think a pronunciation guide would be helpful for each one of these words so all the thumb-faced white people can cool their jets. If you can learn that an ñ is said "ny" in Spanish, you can learn how to pronounce 'θ' (which is said like the 'th' in 'think').
Anytime anyone freaks out about changing a school/road/whatever to an Indigenous name, I just shake my head. One argument said they didn't even have a writing system, and yet there it was being used.
