Sometimes folks treat 538 as synonymous with the forecast models, but
a) the polling data they compiled was a huge undertaking that underpinned *so much other work* both inside and outside
b) they did a phenomenal amount of nuanced, thoughtful writing about politics and public opinion

Most Americans continue to side with Ukraine over Russia. In our polling over the past week, only 6% of Republicans sympathize more with Russia. Republicans’ views on whose side Trump takes in the conflict are mixed.

Our latest polling - conducted today - finds that few Americans have much trust in Elon Musk’s ability to make funding cuts or manage sensitive government data.

Most Americans are also at least somewhat concerned about Musk’s conflicts of interest.
