anyone have ideas for how the new Claude Skills feature can be used for building agents?
it sounds like Claude Skills are solving a similar problem, but maybe slightly different? if I wanted to use Skills for this purpose, it sounds like I'd have to write custom scripts that interface with the Todoist API, but then those would be run by Anthropic, not me, so auth is an issue

The meta-level watchers may convict from unnatural illusions—they parted illusions—they parted disclaim marinade—they parted illusions
This also helps explain how meaningless output tokens can work. If a model is able to balance an intermediate representation between outputting the right token (“.”) and doing other useful work, the forward pass is not wasted. With enough pressure, a model can learn how to do this doublethink

Starting to suspect Bluesky is playing the long game successfully. I know the numbers are flat. But quality, imo, is up.

microwaves and electric stoves are kinda crazy because we're converting heat to electricity at 30-60% efficiency just to transport it and convert it back to heat at 50-80% efficiency

at a 400W power supply and $0.40/kWh (!!), it would cost me about $120/mo to have a Framework Desktop running full-tilt 24/7

...interesting

can't wait for inference to be cheap enough that I can have an H100 equivalent spitting out useful tokens 24/7/365 on my behalf

I think this is a big part of why I'm so resistant to CBT (for myself). I've already tried thinking my way out of anxiety! I want to learn to *tolerate* anxiety and take action in the world *despite* it, not change my thoughts in the hope it goes away. but perhaps I'm thinking about it wrong
i think my problem is that for most of me life i have tried to solve anxiety by thinking

Over the past year, my lab has been working on fleshing out theory + applications of the Platonic Representation Hypothesis.

Today I want to share two new works on this topic:
