My work is starting to talk about retreats again and I just can’t comprehend wanting to drive 2 hours to stay at a hotel and hang out with coworkers. And then I’m like ‘oh yeah work is not great then’ lol. like I would be happy to do this at some old jobs 🫠

ok turns out i'm just getting a new boss, again. but good thing they made everyone spiral for two days from a vague email! 😵💫
last minute friday at 3pm meeting called for my department titled "unit alignment" so uhhhh fingers crossed we aren't going the way of the engineers jfc
my work is just a sinking ship, every day something new gets set on fire. they laid off all the engineers and created new engineering positions that pay less, those laid off engineers can apply for those jobs or stay on to train the new people. BRUTAL.
