A fountain pen with maki-e on a transparent body is almost complete for a customer. All that's left is to add the signature. While maki-e is often applied on black surfaces, applying it on transparent materials requires special techniques, and the way urushi lacquer is handled also changes.

I like this, viewing time away from stress is just balancing worries and cares with relaxing and unwinding time
You could call it escapism. But I prefer to call it finding balance. You can't prevent negative energy in your life and you need to compensate that. Nature is great for that. Beautiful photo!

It's just so fascinating, to think of humans like us drawing and painting these images, so long ago

Creativity is like a houseplant, not an endless well. You need to seek out sunlight, water, and nutrients in art, shows, music, experiences, and more to tend to it. And just like plants it has its dormant and active periods and you may not seem improvement for some time.
