I am always struck by how much better the world treats parents/caregivers traveling with babies/small kids.

World: That looks hard. Let’s try to make it a little less burdensome with family line check-in, boarding, security, immigration, customs.

US: That looks hard. Good.

Bovino is just the patsy - a noxious and odious fall guy. Stephen Miller is the architect and prime mover of the whole thing. Everything they do is at his direction - often after his threats. As long as he runs policy in the WH, nothing will change no matter how many Bovinos come and go.

Exactly. QUIT REFERRING TO THESE PEOPLE AS LAW ENFORCEMENT.
Walz: "We sill investigate this. We will not be stonewalled ... this will end when enough American say this will end. Do I have any confidence that Donald Trump will do the right thing? No ... quit referring to these people as law enforcement. They are not law enforcement."

When ICE sends their people, they aren’t sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people who have lots of problems … I can’t even assume that some are good people.
Anything less than abolishing ICE is unacceptable. I don't want to hear people talk about training these motherfuckers or throwing more money at them. The entire institution needs to be permanently disbanded. Do not let politicians sell you on anything less.

Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.

Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.

Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.

It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.

This.
People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Yes, this particular hospital seems bad but the USA healthcare system is sick itself. Patients are “consumers” and that is f*cked up.
15/ Today we’ve published a deeply reported 5-part series. It’s about Albany, Georgia.

It’s about getting sick in America.

And it’s about what happens when the most powerful institution in town is a hospital.
As Phoebe Memorial Grew, the Health of Albany, Georgia, Declined
The five-part series, “Sick in a Hospital Town,” pursues one question: Why are people in Albany so sick when its most powerful institution is a hospital?

Last week, ICE arrested and separated a father and son after a routine check-in. Six-year-old Yuanxin had just enrolled in the first grade at an elementary school in Astoria. Now he's in custody, alone. ICE won't say where. This cruelty serves no one. It must end.
