Bet all those "violence is never the answer" people are real shocked at how much violence the people in charge of everything are using right now. It's almost like letting one side be as violent as they like, and tying the other side's hands behind their back, was not the greatest idea ever.

Sure is a shame that in the US, all the guns are in the hands of the wrong people, and they won't hesitate to shoot anyone they dislike.

Seeing a lot of people stating that “they/them” pronouns are somehow a sign of transphobia, as opposed to gender neutral. I can’t help feel that some people want to police language to an unreasonable degree, and will throw the baby out with the bathwater.

If there's any good that can come out of the Trump presidency, it's the (most likely vain) hope that the rest of "the West" will realise that America never did anything that wasn't in it's own self-interest, and will expel any form of American influence or power in their country.
