We also need to start punishing politicians who use "I didn't see that" as their excuse, the same way my boss would say "well it's up to you to better inform yourself then". Their job is to stay informed, and they should be fired if they can't complete their job duties.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
