I’ve been thinking about this a lot. I’ve also been thinking about the problem-solving tool kits children are offered. If you teach them that you respond to enemies with violence, what choices do they make when faced with an enemy?
Gifting your child a high-powered rifle is also an ideology. We just refuse to speak of it as such.
