Could anyone (birdwatchers, avian people, twitchers) please tell me what the hell is going on with Geese in the UK? Are they migrating or not? It seems the pattern isn't regular.

One of my favourite pics of the year. Kinder Scout plateau, near Pym Chair, around 3pm in December. The light drops, you need to get down from there, and beauty of nature does not care about your daft schedule today.

In June, I decided to go mountain-biking in one of the least suitable MTB locations, Oxford UK. It was beautiful. Up and down the canals, through the shopping centre, and finished beneath a Willow where local students were practicing their String Quartet pieces.
