I am begging SFF folk to simply look into whether they themselves might be on the aroace spectrum and to write / shop / market accordingly, instead of expressing extreme disgust for books which feature sex, romance, or both.
Absolutely. I still get stares when i talk about scifi romance like, what? Or worse, how dare?

But once I realised there were people like me out there, reading and writing what I loved, I chose to be happy.

Someone can look down their nose at something I like. I'm having fun. That's what matters.

My cursed video game experience:

Play a game for 40 hours.

Watch your console spontaneously die in your hands.

Start the game over on Steam.

Play 99% of the way through the game…

Watch the corrupted game files make the last level unplayable. 😭

Food banks have already been well past capacity since the start of 2025. The infrastructure we have absolutely cannot support the enormous number of people who are about to lose access. Please if you can, find your local food bank and give today.

Halfway through the #Aceweek campaign! REVEN is a steampunk YA fantasy with an ace/aro protagonist. There is no spice, but there is a lot of drama.

If you asked Wendi her favorite food, her official answer would be her mother’s homemade soup, full of nutritious vegetables and protein. But really, the answer is her nanna’s sugar biscuits. Wendi will brawl strangers in a dark alley for those biscuits.

Cannot be stressed enough that very few people "demonize" ICE as much as factually describe what their agents do on a daily basis. I'm sorry if you're upset that "masked men roll up in unmarked vans and kidnap people at gunpoint to ship them off to random foreign countries" sounds, you know, scary.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX): "This needs to stop. Violence is wrong. Politically motivated violence is wrong...This is the third shooting in Texas directed at ICE or CBP. This must stop. To every politician who is using rhetoric demonizing ICE and demonizing CBP; stop!"

Democratic politicians need to just keep drawing the through line over and over. "There are tariffs because Trump is scared of everyone who isn't white, and that's why your farm is going to go under. ICE killed off this Hyundai plant, and that's why you don't have a job."

Seriously? Out of all the #autism conspiracy theories #RFKJr could have dredged up for his report, he picked the Tylenol one? With half a year of hype, I expected more creativity.

Kennedy to link Tylenol use in pregnancy to autism, report says
U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to announce that use of Kenvue's popular over-the-counter pain medication Tylenol in pregnant women is potentially linked to autism, contrary to medical guidelines that say it is safe to use, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

I’m reading this now. It’s fascinating to see the parallels between LGBT activism today and social movements from over a century ago.
THE INTERMEDIARIES covers the time period leading to the Nazi take-over. I have been keeping time with current developments like a doomsday clock. We are getting damn close to ‘midnight’ (1933). We need to know our enemy’s moves to fight them. Book at discount:
