This story really made my blood boil. A field trip for 11 special education students and seven staff members from Maryland's Charles County Public Schools District resulted in outcry from teachers and parents when they were refused service at a local Cracker Barrel restaurant. 😡

The mindset of the trolls is that any attention is better than no attention. We need to control the conversation not continue to boost them by reacting, commenting, or reposting.
“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.
They run them bc people react to them the most.
If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.
It’s not easy and takes constant practice!
