Worked hard on a big revision of my risps. Weeding out mistakes, making tasks clearer, writing Geogebra and Excel files, all with better navigation; look out for the free eBook coming out in January!

Does anyone have a nice activity that is related to rotational and line symmetry but also is basically Christmassy and snowflakey that I can point my yr 7 teachers in the direction of? #maths

Hello #MathsToday, would someone know a good place to find quite challenging questions for Year 11s, and which are as remote as possible from a GCSE style question (but workable with what a year 11 should know in theory)?

Does anyone have a nice set of simple problems to apply the #coremaths modelling cycle to? The sort of thing where students could work in groups to fill out a template of the cycle and then present their findings.

Been doing rounding with my Year 9 and would really love to know if anyone has a bank of worded problems that require them to require them to round the answer at the end. I want to try and do some interweaving and interleaving, but don't want to spend hours finding questions.

I would say that there are two very different things being talked about here: rigorous mathematical proof and verbally convincing others of the validity of your approach. They are both important skills for our students to develop, but they should not be equated #ALevelMaths #MathsToday

Subjects are in tabs along the bottom (eg Maths, Physics, Comp Sci, etc) The data is for 2026 entry. wykecollege-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/person...
