A fundamental difference btwn Judaism & Christianity is that while forgiving in order to be Christlike is central to Christian ethics, for Jews, REPAIR is far more important than forgiveness, forgiveness being an interpersonal option that one CAN exercise out of empathy, while repair is ESSENTIAL.

Tough to pull off, but Bari/David's CBS News just got even more despicable.

I wrote book reviews for a while for the WSJ well over a decade ago, and Bari Weis was my editor. One of her special tricks was to try to insert a sharp rightward slant into my essays *after* it had been copy edited, as a way of slipping her viewpoint in at the last minute.

Important: Minneapolis killing should lead Dems to draw a much harder line against *any* ICE funding in budget talks, Swalwell/Goldman agree.

"I am not going to pay masked thugs to shoot moms in the face. Period," Swalwell says.

A Dem House should be for defunding.

And then led a raid of Uber drivers at the airport.

It REALLY is time to ask what instructions Stephen Miller gave Greg Bovino, bc the RESULTS suggest Miller wants an excuse to invade with troops (and there are right wing propagandists on Xitter who are laying the groundwork).
After the killing of Ms Good, Greg Bovino of the CPB led a raid on a Minneapolis HS. An official there said: They don’t care. They’re just animals,” I’ve never seen people behave like this.”

All MPLS schools now closed for the week.

There are four Republicans currently serving in the House in seats in or near NYC. If Conway wanted to take a whack at the GOP, he could run in one of those districts.

Instead, he's trying to steal one of the most liberal seats in the country, to make it more conservative.

Fuck that.
