I don’t hate to promote this, because Portillo’s has long skated on the origin story, but it’s really just become a hot dog McDonald’s. Support your local hot dog stand, even if it means you cannot sit in your car in a drive-through.
Fellow Chicagoans, I hate to have to say this, but Portillo's is run by fucking scabs and union busters. If you care at all about worker rights, you ought to stop greasing their grinder with your money.
