This picture really is a great summary of what this *word I try not to say anymore*-ed ass administration has done to America. While we haven’t quite collapsed yet, the seeds have been planted and it seems more likely than not to me. Never, ever vote for a fucking republican ever again.
The White House is asking people not to share pictures of the East Wing because it’s even worse today.

Social media is hard. I think I’ve alienated half my Facebook friends by being an annoying never Trumper. X ain’t worth opening. Bluesky still doesn’t feel natural to me. I really hope something feels solid to use when chase season makes it up here.

Seeing posts from people I know voted for Trump talking about being scared of losing their dream job. I want to be mean, petty, vindictive, but I think this probably had to happen. This current wave of conservatism has to end sometime, hopefully careers and lives being destroyed is the catalyst.

Growing up I remember people used to make fun of us millennials. Now I realize we’re the generation that knows how to tell information from misinformation. We’re intelligent. We’re kind. We can feel empathy. We’re good. We need more millennial politicians to save America. We are the only hope.

The Elf Owl is the smallest owl species in the world - here's one I photographed in April. These owls are very small and nocturnal, making getting a shot without artificial light very hard. We wanted to do better though - so we set our tripods up with remote shooting and waited. Here's the result. 🦉

Carbon, IA tornado roping out on 5-21-24. The tornado being in the gap of the trees there was pure luck, this was a stick the camera out the window and hold the shutter button down while driving scenario.
