Called my parents to give heads up of the svr storm racing towards them near Round Rock. They asked which direction should they drive (one car can’t fit in garage) and they always have to qualify by adding not the direction I would go but the direction away from the hail. Fair point.

Still couldn’t believe chasing that day. Only my second year chasing storms and never seen back building thunderstorms it had me in absolutely fascinated with the atmospheric conditions to cause such an event. FYI Jarrell tornado was one of 2 violent tors that shifted SW becoming F4+.

If I was SPC I would have the option to update tornado probs every few hours. The fun being moving it maybe 50-100 miles with every outlook to watch the dots follow. Be like having a laser pointer w a bunch of cats.
