I'm not even the slightest bit surprised by this. If they can bite off Alberta and make it officially North Texas, they absolutely will.

I hope Americans of all kinds realize that under this regime, it's only a matter of time before you're seen as a criminal. It might happen tomorrow or two years from now, but you will be declared a criminal even though you've done nothing wrong.
