I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

i’ve been chipping away at lord of mysteries book 1 this month and i can’t decide if it’s infodumping me too much (tell not show) or i have spent so much time not reading original fantasy that my brain is atrophied and i have trouble digesting all this worldbuilding
overall enjoying it tho!

Apparently the AI bros are on another round of "Hatsune Miku is AI, checkmate luddites" so this is just a reminder that the singer behind Miku was paid and still earns royalties, and beyond that, Miku is nothing more than a MIDI soundboard with advanced pitch converter options, it is not genAI.

Can confirm. I had an ongoing turf war with some Info wars asshole who kept plastering shit around here. Everytime I saw one I'd take it down, they tried getting creative & putting it 9+ feet up but I'd find a way

i was thinking and there’s one thing i actually really dislike in food textures and that would be puree but gritty or mixed with like wet crust/cracker. like if you blended nuts into whipped cream but it’s gritty, or you did pumpkin pie but it’s unsolidifed and made the crust soggy
