I'm reading over the Drops of Gold outline to get the final vibe & fix inconsistencies from adjusting the plot and worldbuilding as I wrote, and this is WAY funnier than I thought it was while sorting out fiddly details as I was writing it. Very late family Christmas gathering recipes round one: Alton Brown's marshmallow recipe, with the corn syrup replaced by honey. The pink ones have freeze dried strawberry powder in them. The trick is to cut them with scissors, not a knife.

The outline for the Drops of Gold series ends tonight at 72,665 words! Looks like I might be on this one for a while. I think this outline is shorter than the one for the When Stars Speak series and that only took me 10 years. Should be fiiiiine.

I used more spoons than I had this weekend & my POTS decided to tell about it by making me sweat like I'm gardening in August for half the day & not be able to get warm under 3 blankets with a heating pad for the other half.

Horror upon horrors: I'm pet sitting out of town, getting paid mostly in magic delivery food, and didn't order enough for breakfast. I could order more but delivery fees are A Lot. I did bring a stash of muffins. Hopefully that will suffice. But not near as good as magic delivery food.

I could have waited a few days for the security camera to be delivered so I could watch my kiln thermometer from the comfort of my couch, but nooo, I had to run a glaze tile test fire today, & the kiln is waaaay downstairs in the garage. & it's late. I'm tired.

I bet a lot of elementary schoolers are getting anxiety about dressing cute enough to be worth saving. There's a very real chance that bunny hat saved that kid. I know he's not the only one who was taken. But I don't know any of the other ones' names or what they look like.

I'm watching X-Men cartoons while I craft & they certainly hit different after I've had family decide I'm not a full human because I'm queer & autistic & states are putting bounties on trans people being in the 'wrong places' & ICE is kicking down doors &shooting people looking for anyone different.

In these troubling times I think everyone should know the dog in the 1st photo, Tallulah, looks sad because I asked her to come in out of the snow, & she convinced me to play longer. The dog in the 2nd photo looks confused because this is likely the 1st time a human has played in the snow with him.
