✨Writer of overly epic epic fantasy where the characters won't shut up & the word count doesn't matter! (Until I try to publish)
EDS. Lyme. Ace/Aro. They
Alright, did a little studying and gave the coloring another go. I think it's better but still not where I want it. I'll probably try an action pose next. I'm having a hard time finding references who don't look like models.

Convincing you to read my (unpublished) novel by the first sentence. Share yours if you want.

This is the start of the Perhaps On A Different Plane, a YA urban fantasy trilogy.

Today and yesterday I spent all day hurrying to get the things I needed to do done so I could do the stuff I wanted to do, but by the time I was done with chores I'd run out of day. Not my favorite. At least I got some apple cake and banana bread out of it.

Today I learned that if you harvest lemongrass when it's cold enough outside you will not feel the dozens of tiny sawgrass cuts until you come inside and warm up, and will believe you are simply successfully being very careful.

Mistakes were made.

Also, what do I sow with this much lemongrass?

Hey artists! I'm trying to illustrate my urban fantasy & have run into a problem.

I'm partly face blind. I do NOT understand human faces. I can paint photorealistic nature, pretty good at inanimate objects. But not people.

Can I get some kind constructive critsism? Why does this look so lifeless?

The latest illustration for A Less Ordinary Evil, book one of the Perhaps on A Different Plane trilogy, where a late night surprise period leads the MC into the second inciting incident.

I learned about periods from Tamora Pierce's books. They should definitely be part of YA fiction.

Hack for infinite strawberry plants:

Get a big bucket of potting soil. Put in 2-3 strawberry plants. Ignore.

Every few months discover the strawberry plants have overtaken the bucket and are attempting to take over the surrounding weed lawn.

Transplant all but 2-3 strawberry plants.

Repeat.

For some reason it's impossible to take a good picture of blacklight glowing things. The phone just wants to pick up the blue light instead of the glow. Doof and Balloony particularly glow much better in person. We've also got some glowing skeletons.

For Halloween my dad and I dressed up in blacklight reactive costumes, filled the yard with black light, set up our Doofinzmirtz and Perry decorations, and watched Phineas and Ferb with a projector on a screen on the front of the house. We gave out so much candy we had to dip into our own supply.

Worked on illustrations for the Perhaps on a Different Plane trilogy today while I had post-migraine ick. Ended up photographing my own shoes as a reference when I couldn't find anything free. Still needs some shading & to make a black and white version.

I was picking peppers and eggplants and found this little guy. So tiny he has a whole jungle I'm 2 plants.

I have made a fully functioning magic wand! It only knows one spell, Make Acorn Go Fast.

I hear rumors that if you properly attune to it, it'll upgrade to Make Rock Go Fast.

Exciting possibilities.

I've bleach splattered, dip dyed, and uv reactive spatter dyed a pair of jeans, and dyed a jean vest. And started working on a prop wand. I'm not sure how I feel about the green splatters, but they should calm down after a wash. The camera doesn't catch all the UV colors super well.

Phineas and Ferb Halloween decorations progress: Balloony.

Or Collin.

Doctor Doofinzmirtz's best friend.
Or Big Mitch's best friend.
The rarest creature in the universe.
Or a balloon.

Don't think about it too hard.

Today is garden pepper fermentation day! (If nothing goes terribly wrong)

Wish me luck. My body is an absolute wuss about spice even if I like it, and somehow pepper juice always gets around my glasses. Might find a face shield and treat the really spicy ones like little bombs, for I am mayo hued.

Behold my Doofinzmirtz... inator?

Halloween decorations are running a little late because of the usual series of bad health and unfortunate events, but they're coming. Doof needs another round of glow paint. Perry, Balloony are already cut out and primed, and an inator is on the way.

So has someone collected all the footage of the protest frogs and made a video of them with Crazy Frog playing over it, but instead of the song yelling "crazy frog" it screams "no kings"? I don't have time to learn video editing to make this, someone take the torch 😆

I hardly ever have something on hand for these!

Quote repost with skull art

This is a design for a shirt that never got made because they're just so expensive to print. I've got a few skull themed ones.

Here's the flower of my snail vine. I've been trying to get seeds for years and coddled this thing all growing season. It's made a grand total of 3 flowers, but they are weird and I love them. This is a single, spiral shaped flower.

Thank you! I have this👇. It didn't come with any info and I couldn't find the exact loom online. It did come with a rattle, a bunch of heedles and reeds. I made a warping board and still need to tie some strings where they need to go. But I read and watched videos about warping and think I-

Every time I pet sit for my sister I hide something weird in their house. Usually a bunch of little things, animals or stickers. This time I put these at the end of scavenger hunts, 1 for her, 1 for her husband. Both are weighted. The finished platypus has a hair floof but I forgot a final photo.

Behold my gallon of aji mango peppers that are finally getting ripe after being green all summer! Apparently they were waiting for Halloween weather so they could look like tiny pumpkins. They're amazingly fruity, smelling somewhere between peaches and mangos. This is from about half the bush.

Slowly making this scarf, shawl...thing. Apparently I should have used a bigger hook because it's kinda stiff. Hoping a few washes will help. It's very bright with lots of textures and makes the autism go brrrrrrrrr.

I am still full of migraines. I have made a thing though. It's so ridiculously, hypnotically shiny and it's a shame I can't catch that on the camera. It's a necklace pendant to match my neon chaos witch hat from earlier.
