"Maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays 'Purple Haze'"
My favourite Supergroup.

Let me explain to you why any experienced illustrator/designer could have stopped you making so many miserable mistakes. 1/
Day 15 - Nothing Ever Happens - Del Amitri
"The needle returns to the start of the song and we all sing along like before".

Day 14 - Beautiful Noise - Neil Diamond
"It's a beautiful noise, made of joy and of strife.
Like a symphony played by the passing parade,
It's the music of life!"

Day 13 - Walk out to Winter - Aztec Camera
"Faces of Strummer that fell from your wall
and nothing was left where they hung".
3.2 minutes of sheer perfection.

Day 12 - Nothing Has Been Proved - Dusty Springfield
"In the house a resignation, guilty faces every one.
Christine's fallen out with Lucky, Johnny's got a gun.
'Please Please Me's number one"

Day 11 - I Think The Answer's Yes - The Beautiful South
"From poor old U2 to poor old Simple Minds..."
My favourite track on 'Choke'. Paul and Dave both in fine voice.

Day 10 - Runnin' Down a Dream - Tom Petty
"It was a beautiful day, the sun beat down, I had the radio on, I was driving. Trees went by, me and Del were singing "Little Runaway," I was flying".
A classic driving tune.

Day 9 - All Together Now - The Farm
With more than a passing nod to Pachelbel's Canon in D, P 37, this seemed an appropriate track on Remembrance Day.

Day 8 - Be My Yoko Ono - Barenaked Ladies
This video was made a couple of years after the song was first released. I hope the story's true that Yoko sent the various clips of John and herself to the band for this video after Sean played her a tape of the song.

For once in my life, I’m dumbstruck.
Sam and the furries will be getting a lot of extra hugs today.

Day 7 - Randy Scouse Git (Alternate Title) - The Monkees
Written about a party thrown for The Monkees by The Beatles "The four Kings of EMI" in London in 1967. Also, apparently, "the girl in yellow dress" is a reference to Mama Cass. Two for the price of one!

Day 5 - Writing to Reach You - Travis
"The radio is playing all the usual. What's a Wonderwall anyway?"
Fran pinched the chord progression to 'Wonderwall' for the verses. When they met, Noel Gallagher wryly commented "nice chords, mate!"
