A positive sign after many years. Weird how poorly we treat our legends.

Couple of good actions in the final third from Carla Julià. Unlucky not to have an assist.

Aïcha looks like a fantastic player, both offensively and defensively.

I hope a player or two from the B team get an opportunity to play today.

I love those goals from excellent combinations in the final third. Vicky -> Aïcha -> Alexia.

No pressure on the ball, no passing lane blocked, but with a high line. They are simply a bad team.

What is wrong with Barça. Awful press, lazy defending, and they show no signs of improving.

Guess who is back to writing? I wrote about people defacing the friend companion ads, and the cycle of tech vultures destroying our world and then feeding on the consequential loneliness and pain www.thenation.com/article/soci...
AI Will Never Be Your Friend
The Friend necklace promises constant companionship and understanding. But this isn’t friendship—it’s a soulless, cynical way to prey on our loneliness and fear.

I feel like Pina only passes to Alexia in the box.
Pues con este buen gol de alexia, España gano a Suecia hoy.

Shocking defending from Sweden. The initial defender is on the wrong side, the CB just gives up and watches, and Pina says thank you.
⚽ GOOOOL!!! PINA!!!

Wow! What a goal by PSV, the one-touch passing is insane.

Impressive how good Fermín is at setting up a shot with his first touch. Helps that he can shoot with either foot equally well.

I am curious how much money each of the stakeholders was going to earn - Villarreal, Barça, LaLiga, and Relevant. Pique's Cosmos got as much money as Barça/Madrid to stage Supercopa games in Saudi.

Dro Fernández saying that he had a little more space and time as the left winger, compared to his debut where he played as a #10.

Roony Bardghji looks like an excellent signing for €2 M. Good sign that he can dribble past in 1v1 situations, and contribute against mid-table sides. Only been a few months since he recovered from an ACL injury.

The initial turnover from Fermín, under no pressure, is what he needs to improve upon. Counter against a better team, or if Olympiacos didn't have one fewer player.

I believe that is Fermín's first hat-trick. Just the energy and finishing he brings, is so valuable on CL nights.

A red card might help but the team doesn't look good at all, very little signs of improvement.

Fantastic half from Dro on his Champions League debut. Been fabulous with the ball, worked hard defensively, and now provided an assist.

Very good piece. The extreme stylistic focus on duels, set pieces, and throw-ins will continue until their perceived advantages diminish.
Unai Emery on why Villa beat Spurs: “We adapted to everything tactically: in duels, set pieces, throw-ins.” He didn't need to mention the more intricate elements of football. Which was a fair analysis, and somewhat sums up the current Premier League style.

This pass from Vicky is absolutely brilliant, how did she see that passing lane? Great work from Salma to drag a defender away from Kika.
