Y'know, I still *really* want to rigorously construct my universe of software engineering via math. Basically starting at abstracting to 0/1 with the most basic set theory, but then really going into groups and rings before circling back to sets and Boolean algebras, then constructing integers etc.

Some of these old but great math books, man. They're so fuckin good, but because they're from like 1860 or whatever, nobody reads them except for fucking nerds like me, and well after the biggest value gain I would've gotten from it lmfao

I was looking through an old notebook of mine and there's this one page... It's dated as are the pages around it, and there's a 2 year gap before this page and a 3 year gap after this page. The page simply says, "Alcohol is great because it makes the suicidality at home" under the date.

Really hoping 2026 is the year I train my brain to read comfortably again lmfao. Figuring out that I can do audiobook really well, and it helps me even reading physical books to have the audio too, has carried me the last years. 2025 I read more w/ audio than ever and w/o audio than I have in years.
