I have this one from some artist in San Diego that my friend bought me after a conversation staring at it
It's a kinda abstract and difficult to describe art piece. There is a woman half covered in some kind of gown in one view, but it is merged into this image of apparently Mary holding Jesus, with pierced sides after his death. The background is black, and a dark blue colored Chinese (?) symbol for "beautiful" (according to Google) is in the top right.

Severity escalates with AI, with more critical and major issues happening. AI introduced nearly two times more naming inconsistencies; unclear naming, mismatched terminology, and generic identifiers appeared frequently. AI code “looks right” at a glance but often violates local idioms or structure. AI-generated code often created issues correlated to real-world outages. Performance regressions are rare but are disproportionately AI-driven. Incorrect ordering, faulty dependency flow, or misuse of concurrency primitives appeared far more frequently in AI pull-requests. There were, however, some advantages with AI, said the report. Spelling errors were almost twice as common in human-authored code (18.92 vs. 10.77). This might be because human coders write far more inline prose and comments, or it could just be that developers were “bad at spelling,” the report speculated. Testability issues also appeared more frequently in human code (23.65 vs. 17.85).

A BlueSky post saying the whole Al panic is a grim reminder that nobody actually understands what humans care about: control of other humans. We are willing to pay for stuff that is crafted by other humans because we are animals in a social hierarchy. markets formalize and abstract this but it's what drives them.

It took me like 20 minutes to set up my first demo azure functions and this guy spent NINE HOURS following AI...........
And it can be particularly pernicious if the developer is unfamiliar with the task. Judge remembers getting AI to help set up a Microsoft cloud service called Azure Functions, which he’d never used before. He thought it would take about two hours, but nine hours later he threw in the towel. “It kept leading me down these rabbit holes and I didn’t know enough about the topic to be able to tell it ‘Hey, this is nonsensical,’” he says.

There's literally decades of critical work on the values being represented in economic works, and these guys seriously can't figure out that the critique of "Ooo line go up" aimed at them is saying their measures are fucked, more than the graph itself.
Another liberal economist refusing to read left critique saying he doesn't understand the "oh, you have a line on a graph, you think this means anything?!" people who also self-id as some kind of socialist/communist. how exactly are you going to run the co..and economy, dude? macroeconomic policy made on vibes? But it's just blatantly ignoring that it's not a critique about using graphs, it's a critique of the measures represented in their graphs, which has decades of critical work, including alternate measures that seek to overcome this critique and are actively used by socialist (and other left wing) economists all the time.

I know most are mixed on it, but I personally find it better than Mephisto, which I am certain has cinnamon in it. Haven't had Lucid yet, though I really want to try it!
